Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

CreativeLIVE and My New Book!

It's been a while since I've posted on deviantART but I am excited to share my recent news with the community on here...

CreativeLIVE are coming to NY this October and I'll be hosting a 3 day fashion photography course with them on the 22nd-24th October which you can watch online for FREE live (or purchase all 3 days in advance for only $99). The course will cover everything from the preparation of the shoot to the final stages of post production... I am thrilled to be on board with the creativeLIVE team and hoping you can join me! I am looking for 4 students to come and join me as part of my studio audience during the three days - if you're interested and would love to be a part of our team then all you have to do is watch the promo video on the course page for details on how to submit your video, here.

..and other news! I have also just published a book called 'Fashion Photography 101' which is available worldwide through Amazon or all good book stores (Waterstones, WhSmiths, Barnes & Noble, Chapters etc). It took me just over a year to write so I can't even begin to explain how good it feels to finally see it on the shelves in my favourite book / magazine stores!
