Oh wow this is nice, but yet again its your face... over and over.. and over again... maybe someday we will see photos of places.. architecture... macro shots.. birds... sunsets.. water..... plants..... emotion... oor..... your eyes.. over and over again..
really I like your photos and your nice and your cats photos those are great (and your cats EYES)
but.... I really think your color is amazing.. just its always a photo... of you. or your eyes... and some random prop...
Good photos... amazing contrast, focus, and when colors involved its great.
You're an awesome photographer.
but you live in England, you have so many cool things around you, its like girls that goto Tibet and come back with no photos...
I could goto 7/11 and come back with atleast 4 photos...
this isnt mean...
Just I like to view your gallery and this is just the same material
that's because i can't do other stuff at the moment.
I do macro shots, look at my gallery, look at my flickr page, you'll see i do do other photography but i'm limited with this one lens i have and i'm limited with models, too.
I guess, I'm just saying I shot for years with a nikon 995 digicam, with its shitty lense, I don't think its your tools.
I don't think its your tools at all, look at your gallery, its so pretty and beautiful... but when I check to see a new picture its just another picture of you. I'll even use a 1967 poloroid camera, it can't be your tools.. well it could.. Like if you ONLY have a macro lens.. but then you can still go out and do some pretty creative things.
Hi. I hate to seem like I'm ganging up on you but I'm really not. I think your stuff is awesome. Beautiful composition, and excellent colour that even brings me to awe. Just the subject is becoming kinda old. You're beautiful. But then again... different people have different standards. I'm not like some amazing photographer. I just like to take pictures. Of... things. And people. Not my face. Not anymore, anyway. There is so much more to the world than my own reflection. I know what I look like and there's only so many angles from which my face can be captured.
Is it really location that's lacking? This woman's gallery used to be pretty amazing but she's deleted pretty much everything... I don't know if you've heard of *arumdamour? She's 50+ years old. A housewife. Works. Has kids. She'd probably be leading one of the most typical, boring lives, with, like you say, no good locations. And yet she took some amazing pictures. Patterns of light on the ground. Light filtering through petals. Textures in the gravel. Her new cellphone. Flowers, flowers, flowers everywhere. Sunlight on wickerwork. Water. Rain drops on the grass. I'm sorry, but unless you live in a box with literally nothing in there, it's kinda impossible to have nothing to shoot. Wait, sorry. It's not impossible if you have a mirror.
I believe it all has to do with one's eye for detail.
I mean I saw some where you were actually outside, in the open. Rocks and water and foliage and all that. Just, every shot has you in it. I can understand if you're a portrait photographer as opposed to that of landscape or wildlife or whatever, and it would be kinda difficult if you have trouble finding models. But you're really good at photography. What do you do most of the time? I mean when I feel like shooting I just ask my boyfriend to drive me somewhere. With people. And those locations make for good shooting opportunities. I mean unless you live on somewhere like the island that Tom Hanks was stuck on for four years in Cast Away... idno. I just feel it's kind of a waste.
Not trying to lecture you. Just making a suggestion. Please don't take it wrongly :]
